As Art Director on the Be Internet Awesome initiative with Highlights, Zaner-Bloser, and Google, I collaborated with The Hatcher Group’s team of graphic designers, communications strategists, and UX designers to create a visually engaging and kid-friendly experience that made digital literacy and online safety fun and accessible. My role focused on art direction, moodboard development, and illustration, helping to establish a cohesive and compelling visual identity across all materials.
Working closely with our team, we designed 50 hands-on activities for students aged 7-12, blending educational content with vibrant, engaging visuals. We also contributed to the interactive microsite’s design, ensuring illustrations and visual elements resonated with young learners, families, and educators. This project was a true collaborative effort, combining creativity and strategy to reinforce safe digital habits through thoughtful and engaging design.
