The previous appian.com global navigation had issues with large gaps of unused white space, poor organization and IA, and requiring too many clicks for users to find the content relevant to them. My role in this project included organizing and facilitating a design sprint, vetting and implementing a new IA with main stakeholders, wireframing, prototyping, and delivery of the new navigation design.

Appian’s newly-launched design system has required a fresh re-design of brand collateral such as deck templates, social media graphics, event signage, and more. My responsibilities included implementing the new design system in the form of templates to help drive adoption of the new visual guidelines by designers and partners. Appian wanted to bring low-code automation conversations to the podcast platform with two new podcast series. I was responsible for developing the individual look and feel for each podcast logo and podcast art, while staying true to the Appian brand family. Below are some final concepts for both podcast logos and art.
